Description Road Safety Coordinator 8755 | Permanent contract | £31,537 to £33,699 per annum (Scale G) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich Following the promotion of the current post holder within the team, Public Health’s Road Safety team is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Road Safety Services Co-ordinator to support the delivery of high-quality driver and rider education programmes such as National driver offender retraining scheme (NDORS) delivery and supporting trainers with our road safety driver and rider commercial interventions. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of road safety skills and commercial delivery programmes are co-ordinated efficiently. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to co-ordinate contracted trainers, inductions, finance, maintaining quality standards and performance monitoring. The key responsibilities for this role includes: Oversee the NDORS and commercial skills interventions, for example: booking systems, delivery and supporting driving/riding instructors and trainers. Complete venue risk assessments and course bookings and future planning to meet future demand. Provide technical and process support to driving/riding instructors and trainers. Co-ordinate GDPR, ROPA, DPIA, data housekeeping and risk assessments. Maintain up to date and accurate spreadsheets including performance data, budget sheets, processing invoices, income and overseeing purchase orders and requisitions. We are looking for someone who is: Organised and confident in managing multiple priorities. Skilled in digital systems and adaptable to change. Strong communicator and positive team member. Experience in co-ordinating different services and supporting finances and budgets. What We Offer: This is a full-time position offering a hybrid working model with flexibility and work variety. The main contracted working location is Norfolk County Council, and it is expected the successful candidate to visit venues across Norfolk to complete risk assessments and attend some planned in person meetings or events.
