An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the pharmacy clinical trials team based at Salford, Northern Care Alliance, to support the delivery of an expanding portfolio of clinical trials.
The team provides pharmacy support to a wide range of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials involving medicines across various clinical areas, including advanced therapies. They are responsible for all aspects of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) management.
You will work as a pharmacy clinical trials assistant, ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective planning and prioritisation of work, and smooth running of clinical trials.
We are seeking an excellent communicator who is flexible, motivated, organised, and detail-oriented to join our team.
Candidates must hold or be working towards NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) and have experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting as part of a team.
You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be capable of developing and maintaining good working relationships with research teams, trial sponsors, and staff to collaboratively deliver high-quality patient care.
Main responsibilities include IMP management activities such as ordering, receipt, dispensing, processing returns and disposal, maintaining a full audit trail of medicines, and participating in audits, invoicing, and hosting site visits.
