An exciting opportunity for an experienced business analyst, to work for a global entertainment company. The ideal candidate will have strong people skills combined with an analytic mindset. The role does require 3 out of 5 days onsite in Watford.
About the Role
The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, managing stakeholders, and assessing business processes to ensure alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities
* Requirements Gathering & Analysis
* Elicit business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
* Document functional and non-functional requirements
* Analyze and validate requirements for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with goals
* Create BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), FRDs, or user stories
* Stakeholder Management
* Identify key stakeholders (business users, management, IT teams, vendors)
* Facilitate communication between business and technical teams
* Manage stakeholder expectations
* Conduct requirement review and sign-off sessions
* Business Process Analysis
* Analyze current ("As-Is") business processes
* Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
* Design future-state ("To-Be") processes
* Create process flow diagrams and models (e.g., BPMN, UML)
* Solution Assessment & Validation
* Collaborate with technical teams to translate requirements into solutions
* Review system designs to ensure alignment with business needs
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
* Validate that final deliverables meet agreed requirements
* Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain requirement traceability matrix (RTM)
* Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders
* Document change requests and impact analysis
* Change Management & Support
* Analyze impact of changes on systems and processes
* Assist in training and user support
* Ensure smooth implementation of new systems or enhancements
* Data Analysis (Often Required)
* Analyze datasets to identify trends and insights
* Support decision-making with data-driven recommendations
* Define KPIs and performance metrics
