Across the sites of Barking and Dagenham, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals Trust (BHRUT) we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist with a special interest in Orthopaedics to join our friendly and highly skilled team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and support staff on a full-time basis.

The post will include rotations in trauma, community, elective inpatients.
You will be able to provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for their patients, as well as having excellent communication skills. The post involves close working with the MDT to provide evidence-based patient-centred care in a variety of settings. In return you will receive regular supervision and support, as well as training and career development opportunities.

Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard of physiotherapy service, as determined by your area of speciality, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries

To fulfil a teaching and supervisory role with peers, Band 5 staff and students on placement

5. Ability to demonstrate skills in assessment and treatment of patients in line with current practice and research
6. Ability to communicate complex and sensitive information (Verbal, non-verbal and written) in an accurate, clear and logical manner
