We're looking for a detail-driven Senior Planner to lead production scheduling and material planning for complex, made-to-order valve assemblies. What You'll Be Doing Develop and manage production schedules and work orders for new builds and repairs. Align material needs with engineering BOMs and customer specifications. Monitor capacity constraints and proactively adjust schedules across multiple departments. Maintain and update planning data in ERP/MRP systems. Track work order progress and implement solutions to remove bottlenecks. Coordinate with procurement and stores to avoid material shortages. Support customer service with accurate lead time estimates. Improve planning processes and implement metrics like lead time performance and capacity utilization. Support WIP tracking, kitting, and planning-based continuous improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For Experience: 5 years in planning roles within low-volume, complex manufacturing environments (engineered-to-order or made-to-order preferred). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of CNC machining, mechanical assembly, testing, and repair operations. ERP Proficiency: Experience with systems like SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar. Analytical Skills: Proficient with Excel and comfortable handling data to drive planning decisions. Communication: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field. APICS CPIM or similar planning certification. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and document control processes. Working Conditions Based in both office and production environments. Regular interaction with departments across engineering, machining, quality, and dispatch.
