Senior Project BIS Engineer (North West - Warrington)
Job Overview
The work will be varied and every project a new and exciting opportunity to use and develop different skills, both at a technical level and at a softer project execution interpersonal level.
You will be involved in the design and implementation of a wide range of systems to improve the performance of Life Science, Chemical and Manufacturing and processing companies including control systems, plant management information systems, manufacturing execution systems, track and trace systems and OEE systems to name but a few.
You will be working with a range of industries and companies such as AstraZeneca, Piramal Healthcare, Sellafield Ltd, Magnox, INEOS and Gatwick Airport. All of them require state of the art solutions and first class service.
Responsibilities
1. Assist in the design and implementation of process control solutions.
2. Involve in all project lifecycle activities, including fault-finding, preparation of design specifications and reports, software programming, project execution, testing, installation, and commissioning.
3. Provide technical support and consultancy to users internally and externally.
4. Ensure the successful completion of projects on time, to budget, and to the relevant level of quality.
5. Complete all tasks in line with the company Quality Management System.
6. Maintain and develop customer relationships in a highly professional manner that enhances the reputation of ITS.
7. Provide engineering manpower support to customers under Service Level Agreements.
Minimum Requirements
1. At least 7 years of Real Time computing and Management Information Systems experience.
2. Experience working in regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Chemical Manufacturing or Power and Energy is highly desirable.
3. Ability and willingness to adapt to new software systems.
4. Hardworking with a positive attitude to learning new skills.
5. Effective communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
6. Driving Licence.
