If so, Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of its client’s Children’s Residential Care team in Cumbria. This is a unique opportunity to lead a solo children’s home, providing 2:1 trauma-informed care to one child at a time. Your experience and leadership will be instrumental in creating a safe, nurturing environment where meaningful change happens.
What will your responsibilities be?
1. Oversee the operation of a solo occupancy home, creating safe, nurturing environments for children with complex needs.
2. Lead, inspire, and develop a dedicated care team committed to delivering exceptional outcomes.
3. Ensure home meets and exceeds regulatory standards, including Ofsted expectations.
4. Collaborate with external professionals to support each child’s individual journey.
5. Embed therapeutic practices and a culture of stability, safety, and high standards from day one.

9. Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9–5 with flexibility as needed

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
15. Minimum 12 months’ experience managing a children’s home
16. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
17. In-depth knowledge of SCCIF, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards
18. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
19. Full UK driving licence and access to transport
20. A resilient, trauma-in
