What you'll be doing? Supporting External Technical Sales Engineers with internal sales and proposal activities Handling customer enquiries over phone and email, delivering a high standard of service Preparing accurate and timely quotations Contributing to profitable sales across the full product range, including upselling Building strong customer relationships and providing detailed product/service information Supporting continuous improvement through collaboration with colleagues/management Carrying out key admin tasks including documentation, CRM updates (Microsoft Dynamics), and internal communication Keeping on top of supplier price changes and negotiating where needed Carrying out additional duties to support the team as required What we're looking for? This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering to take the next step in their technical sales career. The following skills, traits and experience we're seeking are: HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or relevant experience) Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Commercial awareness and an understanding of the sales process A team player who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment What's in it for you?
