Job Vacancy: Cleaner Location: Brierley Hill Primary School (Black Country Federation) Salary: Grade 1, Scale Point 3 Hours: 12.5 Hours per Week (Part-Time, Full Year) Working Pattern: Monday – Friday (Specific shift times to be discussed, typically afternoon/after-school based) Start Date: Dependent on successful candidate. The Role We are seeking to appoint a hardworking and committed Cleaner to join our existing site team at Brierley Hill Primary School. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness required to create the best possible learning environment for our pupils. Your duties will include ensuring classrooms, communal areas, and facilities are kept to an exceptional standard, taking pride in delivering a safe and hygienic space for our children and staff. What We Are Looking For We are looking for an experienced cleaner who is: Reliable and Punctual: A good timekeeper who we can depend on. Flexible and Organised: Able to manage a variety of tasks that may change daily. Self-Motivated: Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team. Safety-Conscious: Understands the importance of good cleaning practices and the safe use of chemicals and equipment. Detail-Oriented: Someone who takes genuine pride in their work and the school environment. Benefits Annual Leave: 26 days per year pro rata (rising to 31 days after 5 years’ service), plus all bank holidays. Please note: All annual leave must be taken during school holiday periods.
