Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, ensuring that our restaurant delivers exceptional service and high-quality food. Responsibilities
* Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards
* Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting professional development
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations
* Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction
* Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food production and presentation
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen spaces
Qualifications
* Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
* Previous experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous
* Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations is essential
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively
* A background in serving or barista experience is beneficial but not mandatory
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management (2 Years)
