As a business, we can offer opportunities across multiple markets, sectors and geographies, giving you the chance to work on some of the UK’s most complex and challenging projects, as a part of the ever growing and ever talented, Altrad Babcock team.AccountabilitiesImplement the Temporary Works Procedure (TWP) (C)in accordance with BS 5975 section 7.2.5Coordinate all TW activitiesKey DeliverablesEnsure a TW Register is established and maintainedEnsure the various responsibilities have been allocated and acceptedLiaise with Access Design Engineers regarding ALL required TWs designsEnsure a Design Brief is prepared appropriately and accurately with adequate consultation, and assign and appropriate Design Category to the TW based on the risks presented by the designEnsure that any residual risks are included in the design briefEnsure that a satisfactory TW design is carried outEnsure that a design check is carried out by the appropriate parties (for CAT 2 and CAT 3, these must be external to the Temporary Works Designer(s))Ensure that the design is made available to relevant external parties (e.g. Principal Contractor) where appropriate to do soRegister or record the drawings, calculations and other relevant documents pertaining to the TW designEnsure that those responsible for site supervision receive full details of the TW designLead and foster our world class approach to HSEQualificationsCITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator training certificateEngineering qualification – HNC/Degree or 10 years equivalent industry experienceRisk Assessor trainingDM 2015 TrainingAbility to achieve BPSS clearance to work in the UKIOSH Managing Safely preferredCCNSG or HSE MaPs Safety PassportExperienceYou'll enjoy finding solutions to problems, be able to prioritise and able to work on your own initiative, were also keen to find those that can bring new ideas and a different perspective.
