Job Overview
This exciting role involves merchandising, managing and optimizing product ranges to drive sales and profitability. You will work closely with the buyer to develop commercially successful product strategies that align with customer and brand values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the buyer to build seasonal product strategies aligned to business goals and customer needs.
* Analyze historical and in-season trading data to inform range building, option planning and market differentiation.
* Set and manage sales and profit targets across categories, channels and markets.
* Deliver weekly trade reports and recommendations to drive performance.
* Manage markdown and promotional activity aligned to the trade calendar while protecting margin and supporting sales growth.
* Work with supply chain, logistics and retail teams to manage inventory and identify opportunities for clearance.
Requirements
* Strong merchandising experience (ideally within jewellery, fashion or accessories).
* Proven track record of sales and margin planning and commercial performance management.
* Solid understanding of merchandising principles, range development and product lifecycle management.
* Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence decisions based on data.
