This role will be based at Tanworth Court, in the heart of Solihull. The home has been specially designed to cater to the needs of 60 residents, who live with a range of age-related conditions, physical disabilities, mental health conditions, and some with Dementia. It is essential that candidates are patient, understanding, and respectful of our residents’ individual abilities.

Responsibilities of our Kitchen Assistant include:
* Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages in line with residents’ dietary requirements
* Conducting quality checks on food prepared and stored
* Assisting with food service to ensure a dignified dining experience for residents
* Maintaining stock records according to company policies and food safety regulations
* Ordering stock and maintaining accurate records
* Keeping the kitchen hygienic and tidy, supporting deep cleaning tasks
What we’re looking for in our Kitchen Assistant:
To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine caring nature and a desire to make a positive impact on our residents. You should be an experienced cook, ideally holding a Food Hygiene and/or Catering qualification, though training can be provided if necessary.
