Construction Senior Associate/Legal Director (4–8+ PQE) – Leeds
We are working with a leading UK commercial law firm on an exciting opportunity within their highly regarded Construction team in Leeds. This is a fantastic chance to join a forward‑thinking, commercially driven firm with a strong reputation for advising on complex, high‑value construction and infrastructure projects.
The team advises a broad range of clients, including developers, contractors, funders, and public sector bodies, on both contentious and non‑contentious construction matters. Their work spans major development and infrastructure projects, drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke construction contracts (including JCT and NEC), as well as advising on project risk, procurement strategies, and dispute avoidance. The team is also experienced in handling disputes through adjudication, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
This role is ideally suited to a Senior Associate who is looking for a clear progression path and the opportunity to take on management responsibilities. As well as this, the firm can offer a high degree of flexibility.
This position can focus on non‑contentious construction, however if you have worked on both non‑contentious and contentious matters and wish to continue a similar caseload, then this can be provided.

Requirements
You will have 4–8+ PQE experience working on Construction matters in England & Wales, or common law jurisdictions.
Salary is £75k–£105k depending on your level of experience, as well as a leading bonus structure.
