Chartered Building Surveyor & Registered Valuer
We are looking for an MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor and a RICS Registered Valuer to join our team in a key full-time role.
Location: Exeter, Devon, covering the South West region. Hybrid working arrangements with a flexible approach to survey scheduling are available.
Responsibilities
* Deliver RICS Home Surveys – Level 2 (Homebuyer) and Level 3 (Building Survey)
* Produce RICS Red Book Market Valuations (residential and specialist)
* Prepare Reinstatement Cost Assessments for insurance purposes
* Provide probate, matrimonial and Help to Buy valuations
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
Qualifications
* Holds MRICS status (Building Surveying pathway preferred)
* Is a current RICS Registered Valuer (VRS)
* Has strong experience in residential Level 2 and/or Level 3 surveys
* Is confident in producing RICS Red Book compliant valuations
* Has excellent report‑writing skills and strong attention to detail
* Is self‑motivated and comfortable working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
* Holds a full UK driving licence
* Previous experience of mortgage panel work, probate or expert witness instructions is advantageous but not essential
