Overview
A business based in Scarborough is recruiting for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) and a salary of circa £28,000 to £32,000, plus further benefits.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with regular financial functions, including preparing BACs runs for suppliers.
* Weekly bank reconciliation
* Monthly update of the fixed asset register
* Assist in production of monthly management reports, managing budget allocation and cost analysis
* Assist with the preparation of VAT returns
* Assist with budget related activities
* Assist with Payroll administration
Requirements
* Strong organisational, attention to detail and time management skills
* Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software, with the ability to manage invoicing and reporting
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* AAT qualified or similar level experience (QBE)
* Previous experience of responsibility for accounts function in small to medium sized business
