Are you passionate about helping pupils succeed and thrive in their learning? Teaching Personnel is looking for an Interventions Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Poulton-Le-Fylde, working within Key Stage 2.
Role Overview:
You will deliver targeted interventions in English, Maths, and SPAG (spelling, punctuation and grammar), supporting pupils who need additional help to meet their learning objectives. This role is ideal for someone proactive, patient, and committed to making a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions in KS2.
* Support pupils’ progress in English, Maths, and SPAG following tailored plans.
* Collaborate with class teachers and SENCO to monitor and report progress.
* Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally KS2.
* Strong knowledge of English, Maths, and SPAG strategies.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
