Make a real difference in your community
Are you passionate about helping others live safer, healthier and more independent lives?
Join Waythrough, one of the UK’s leading mental health and social support charities, and make a lasting impact every day.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Lead to drive the adoption of trauma-informed practice across our services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping culture change, ensuring our systems and teams embed approaches that recognise the impact of trauma and support recovery, resilience, and wellbeing.
In this role, you will provide expert leadership to design and deliver implementation plans, build capacity through training and coaching, and support teams to integrate trauma-informed principles into everyday practice. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, people who use our services, and external partners to ensure meaningful and sustainable change, championing lived experience and co-production at every stage.
We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of trauma-informed practice, proven experience in leading change across complex systems, and excellent skills in facilitation, collaboration, and influence. If you are passionate about driving systemic change and equipping others to deliver compassionate, effective services, we’d love to hear from you.
About Waythrough
Waythrough was formed in 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Together, we’ve created one of the largest mental health and social support charities in England.
Every year, we support around 125,000 people through nearly 200 services – and it’s all made possible by our 3,500 brilliant staff and volunteers.
We’re in the process of integrating systems and processes across our newly merged organisation. That means some roles may still be branded ‘Humankind’ or appear on our partners’ job sites (such as Richmond Fellowship or Aquarius). This is a temporary step while we complete our transition.
What We Offer
We value the people who make a difference every day. Alongside meaningful work, you’ll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package:

3. Life assurance (3× annual salary)
