Reporting to the Principal Environmental Health Officer, you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing public health across the Borough.

* Take appropriate enforcement action across all areas of environmental health.
Position
Woking Borough Council is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our dedicated Environmental Health Team as an Environment Officer or Environmental Health Officer. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a varied and rewarding workload.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Broad experience in Environmental Health, including food safety, health and safety, and pollution control.
* Confident and proactive individual with strong investigative, written and customer service skills.
* Comfortable working with diverse client groups and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Full, valid UK driving licence.
* Required to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate. Support will be provided by the Council.
* Ability to converse confidently with customers and provide clear advice in spoken English.
