Our new engineer will be confident installing fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting in accordance with the current standards, delivering an exemplary standard of work.

Installation Engineer:
The role is varied, and you will be responsible for installation, commissioning and programming of fire & security systems including;
* Fire Alarms
* Intruder Alarm Systems
* CCTV Systems
* Access Control and Intercom Systems
* Remote Monitoring Equipment.
After successful completion of an initial induction period, you will be expected to complete works unsupervised. We require you to provide a quality service for our customers adhering to NSI and BAFE Standards.
We manage your workload for you so no need to worry about running a diary or scheduling appointments.
The Role:
The successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Installation, commissioning, and programming of fire & security systems.
* Covering the southern region (1 hour from our office)
* Have good communication skills to effectively liaise with the office and clients.
* Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm Systems (C-Tec & Advanced).
* Wireless & Wired Intruder Alarm Systems (Texecom, Pyronix & Galaxy).
* CCTV Systems (Dahua & Hikvision)
* Access Control and Intercom Systems (Videx & Paxton).
* Install fire alarm systems in accordance with BAFE and relevant Codes of Practice/Policies (additional training can be provided for the right candidate).
* Liaising with alarm receiving centres
* Full completion of relevant job reports via PDA
* We provide both internal & external training sessions, health & safety and toolbox talks.
* We provide company branded PPE and uniform at all times.
* To be always personally tidy / clean and presentable.
* To treat customers premises with respect (goods and premises) and ensure any work carried out is neat, to relevant standards and left in a clean and tidy manner.
* To maintain a safe, tidy, clean, and secure workplace with utmost regard for slips / trips that could occur to customers, colleagues, and others on site.
Skills Required:
The applicant should already be experienced in the industry and have but not be limited to the following basic requirement:
* Computer Literate to appropriate level to carry out the role, understanding of use of control panel, networking & operation of windows-based programs.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good understanding of current Health & Safety requirements.
* Knowledge of all appropriate working standards and current legislation.
Training:
* Dependent on previous experience and qualifications
* Regular product, technical training, and toolbox talks
* Regular reviews of standards, current legislation, and technical bulletins
Qualifications / Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Security and/or Fire Systems.
* Knowledge of NSI and BAFE Standards is preferable.
* Full Driving License (subject to inspection for company insurance)
