Business Analyst Permanent, Full-time Hybrid (2-3 days in the office) Salary up to £50,000 plus benefits About the role As a Business Analyst within our Product Team, you’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering high quality products and services as we continue our journey towards becoming a digital first, fintech‑led organisation. Working in an Agile environment, you’ll lead end to end analysis across projects and products, balancing technical understanding with strong stakeholder engagement to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Acting as a vital link between the business and technology teams, you’ll help ensure solutions are well designed, user‑focused and aligned with our strategic goals, while driving value and supporting change across the organisation. What you'll be doing Your key responsibilities in this role: Lead the analysis, documentation, and communication of business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to drive successful project delivery. Translate business needs into clear, actionable recommendations and process improvements, ensuring alignment with MAB’s vision and Agile methodologies. Produce detailed written and visual documentation, including process maps, to articulate current and future state processes and support change initiatives. Oversee the implementation and evaluation of recommended solutions, supporting teams through change and ensuring benefits are realised and reported. Act as a key liaison between business and technical teams, providing quality assurance, resolving queries, and ensuring requirements are fully addressed throughout the development lifecycle. About You You will have proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle in a technology environment, ideally within Agile teams. You will be an excellent communicator and relationship-builder, able to translate complex requirements for a range of audiences. Your strengths will include exceptional organisation, analytical skills, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You should be confident with Microsoft Office, have a genuine interest in business and technology, and be adaptable in the face of change. Experience with change management, Confluence, and ADO is highly desirable. Recruitment Process 1st stage: MS Teams interview 2nd stage: In person interview at MAB HQ in Derby What’s In It For You? Use of AI We recognise that AI tools can be a helpful way to articulate your qualities, skills and experience when applying for roles. It’s important to us, however, that we see the real you throughout the recruitment process. We hire real people, not polished personas! We simply ask that you consider carefully how and where you use AI during your application, so we can hear your own thoughts and meet your authentic self.
