Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week - South Family Help

Permanent, Full time 37 hours per week - Youth Voice and Participation

We are seeking two dynamic and creative Youth and Community Workers to join our South Family Help Team and our Youth Voice and Participation Team.


South Family Help Team, part-time


The role will include working with a wide range of play and youth organisations from across South Bristol to help build and help grow our South area play and youth offer for children and young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with learning disabilities).


The role will also include one to one work with children and young people to help bridge them into local services, local activities, and other relevant provision. A key element of the role is leading on youth democracy work, both within the community and within council services, to elevate youth voice and increase youth participation aligned to the Bristol South Youth Area Youth Forum and wider City-Wide participation work.

Youth Voice & Participation, full time


We’re looking for a dynamic Youth and Community Worker to work with us on youth voice and influence across Bristol. This exciting role supports key youth democracy initiatives including the Bristol City Youth Council, UK Youth Parliament and Area Youth Forums. You’ll work directly with young people, particularly those from equalities groups to ensure their perspectives shape services and decisions that affect them.

As part of our commitment to inclusive youth participation, you’ll facilitate youth-led forums, and champion the development of young leaders in our city. If you’re skilled in youth engagement, passionate about equality, and ready to make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you.

You will be employed on JNC term and conditions, and as such, requires an approved JNC qualification at degree level (level 6) or above. Please note that this role is also subject to approved references and an Enhanced DBS Check.
