This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a global household business owning many well-loved brands. We seek an experienced and ambitious Procurement Manager to join our team.
The role reports to the Head of Category Management and oversees key spend areas such as MRO, International Freight, Warehousing, Operational Spend, and Utilities. Candidates with a broad range of indirect category management experience are encouraged to apply.
Role and responsibilities:
* Develop strategies, oversee delivery, and ensure year-on-year savings
* Create group-wide category plans to align strategies across the organization, leveraging supplier relationships
* Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including Directors and Board members, using strong market knowledge
* Build relationships with key stakeholders to monitor supplier performance
* Manage supplier risk and performance through reporting and feedback
* Model procurement excellence by embodying company values and promoting procurement best practices
* Deliver strategic projects and ensure optimal service and cost efficiency
Experience and requirements:
* Experience in indirect procurement within large, complex organizations
* Preferred categories include Warehousing, International Freight, MRO, Logistics, and Operations
* Procurement experience in the private sector, ideally within a global business
* Experience managing complex, global projects with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels across regions
* Strategic approach to procurement and supplier management
* Excellent communication skills across diverse cultures and countries
* Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, changing environment
* MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential
