General Labour/Mixer Operators - Food company - Woodbridge
Our client, a leading Food Bakery company, is seeking skilledGeneral Labour/Packers/Mixers/Sanitation/Cleanersjoin their team and start as soon as possible.
Full time, Temporary ongoing positions.
Location: Woodbridge, ON (Hwy 27 and Hwy 7)
Pay rate:$17.20 per hourplus 4% vacation pay
Shifts: All 3 shifts are available:
* Day: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Mon to Fri)
* Afternoon: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm (Mon to Fri)
* Night: 10:00 pm - 6:30 am (Sun to Thurs)
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* General Labour, Packaging duties while working on production lines,Palletizing, putting labels on boxes, taping up boxes, general housekeeping.
* Mixer duties include operating mixing machines, ensure label, weight, quality of the product is as per procedure.
* Set up equipment and pre-scale ingredients and monitor processing activites.
* Experience with Food, Restaurants or Kitchen industry is preferred.
* Has experince with sanitation and cleaning duties such asSweeping floors, mop cleaning of floors,Collecting garbage from time to time.
* Picking and packing products as assigned.
* Follow all GMP guidelines.
* Must be able to speak, read and write English well.
* Must be physically fit and able to do heavy lifting upto 50 lbs.
* Must be able to work in a loud, hot and fast paced environment.
* Must be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can wear CSA Approved safety shoes while working.
* Comfortable working with food & baking products.
* General cleaning of plant areas.
* Health & Safety conscious.
* Must be able to work full time 40 hours per week as per scheduled shifts.
* Full understandingof tasks assigned and able to do them.
