Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Chesterfield
Salary Range: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

If so, GSL Education are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join schools across Chesterfield. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy supporting students in a classroom environment. As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure that lessons continue smoothly in the absence of the regular class teacher, helping students stay engaged and focused on their learning.
Key Responsibilities of Cover Supervisor:
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects.
* Maintain a positive and controlled classroom atmosphere.
* Support students with their learning, ensuring they remain on task.
* Manage behaviour in line with school policies and expectations.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and conduct..
* Help maintain a calm, purposeful classroom environment.
Job Requirements for Cover Supervisor (CS):
* Previous experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* The confidence to manage a classroom independently.
* A genuine interest in supporting the academic and personal development of pupils.
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education).
* A current CV (covering the last 10 years with no unexplained gaps).
