We’re recruiting an IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic at Edinburgh Workshop on a Permanent contract, with the potential to earn over £57k including overtime.

What you’ll do
* Perform a full range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on a range of vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
* Use your own toolkit to undertake routine maintenance and repair light/heavy goods vehicles.
* Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in modern, fully equipped workshops.
A Bit About You
* Qualified mechanic: IMI Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent, with your own toolkit for standard repairs.
* Varied vehicle experience: Proven Vehicle Technician experience on a wide range of vehicles (LCV/HGV).
* Valid UK driving licence: Full manual UK licence; HGV licence with trailer experience is preferred.
* High working standards: Pride in delivering effective work.
* Flexible to service demands: Able to work on a flexible shift rota and support your team as needed.
Schedule
Working Hours: Full time – 39.5 hours per week. 5 days over 7 with rotating shifts: week 1 06:00-14:30, week 2 10:00-18:30, week 3 13:30-22:00. Weekend working on a rotational basis (one Saturday and one Sunday every 3 weeks), can be split or worked back-to-back with a weekday day(s) off.
