Duties
* Respond to roadside breakdown assistance requests by operating a fully equipped company van
* Diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicle issues across many makes and models
* Utilise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic skills to get vehicles safely back on the road
* Provide customer support with professionalism and empathy, often being the face of the company during roadside calls
* Maintain detailed records of repairs and service activities
* Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines pertinent to a Roadside Vehicle Technician's role
Requirements
* At least IMI/NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs suitable for a Roadside Vehicle Technician position
* UK driving licence with minimal points
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating excellent organisation and time‑management skills
* A friendly, composed, and professional demeanor suitable for a Roadside Vehicle Technician working directly with customers
* Structured approach to workload management and problem‑solving skills
* Resilience under pressure and adaptability, essential qualities for a Roadside Vehicle Technician in a reactive environment
