Witham Lodge is a Salvation Army Lifehouse and has 30 rooms accommodating men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Cleaner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As someone committed to providing a high-quality environment for our clients, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our clients can thrive in. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning void rooms.
The successful candidate(s)will be able to demonstrate:
1. Ability to work as part of a staff team to ensure any health and safety issues are addressed by on site staff
2. Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations
3. You must be able to work to deadlines and prioritise
4. Respecting Confidentiality in line with policy
5. Keeping all appropriate paperwork evidencing tasks completed to support the services provided at the Lifehouse.
6. Ensure all areas of your schedule are completed as required
7. Ensure all checklists are signed off as required
8. Good time keeping and smart appearance
9. Undertake any training as deemed necessary
10. Adhere to COSHH regulations, ensuring the correct use and storage of cleaning substances and materials.
11. A can do and non-judgemental attitude
