Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our Domiciliary care agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care and will have completed NVQ 5 or currently working towards completion, This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our clients, ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the business ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans for clients, tailoring services to meet their specific needs.
* Supervise and support staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
* Oversee medication administration and ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed.
* Foster a positive environment for clients by promoting dignity, respect, and independence.
* Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
* Lead team meetings to discuss any issues or concerns, staff performance, and operational improvements. Gain feedback form our care staff
Skills
* Proven experience in a Domiciliary care settings is essential.
* You must be a driver with access to a car as our clients are living at their own homes.
* Strong background in care with specific knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care preferred.
* Excellent management skills with prior supervising experience in a healthcare environment.
* Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Proficient in medication administration protocols and health regulations.
* Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
