About the role
As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive quality care and support. You’ll assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share meaningful moments with residents. Responsibilities may include supporting residents with meals and hydration and following care plans, and ensuring one-to-one time with residents where appropriate. Every day will be different and varied, offering a rewarding environment to apply your dedication and compassion.
About you
To join us as a Bank Care Assistant you’ll need some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Empathy and a warm-hearted approach are essential, as is the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all residents.
