Job description
Provide line management for staff under remit. Contribute to high quality service delivery that meets the needs of service users. Work closely with Head of Services to ensure that all areas of operational activity are delivered within organisational policy and with reference to organisational key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the functions of the organisation are delivered in line with the vision, aims, values and agreed performance objectives/key performance indicators.
* Undertake supervision and performance reviews as required.
* Effectively provide day to day direction, supervision, support and motivation to support staff.
* Act as an ambassador for the organisation in recognition that this role may represent the first or only contact made by those you respond to.
* Deputise for the Head of services, as requested.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
* NVQ Level III/minimum 2 ‘A’ levels at grades A-C or higher/equivalent.
* Breadth and depth of experience (2 years) of providing direct support to individuals who have multiple complex needs within the past 5 years.
* Minimum 12 months experience of leading and managing team of staff/volunteers.
* Previous experience of working in partnership with both statutory and voluntary agencies.
