Lift Repair Engineer - Required
Pickerings Lifts is a national, well established, privately owned, independent, leading lift specialist with 170 years' experience. Due to continued success and growth, we require a Lift Repair Engineer.
Applicants should ideally be time served or NVQ L3 Lift Engineers with lift experience and be willing to undertake callout duties. You will also have good customer service and organisation skills and be able to work on your own initiative. A full driving licence is essential.

Main Duties:
* Undertake repair duties and callouts
* From minor repairs to full lift upgrades, including controller/rewire, door operators, valve blocks, complete hydraulic tank replacement etc.
* To carry out the maintenance and repair of all types of goods, passenger and service lifts.
* To report service / repair requirements / defects to encourage improvements in lift equipment and safety.
* To work with Field Engineers on supplementary test.
* To actively participate in an on-call rota within the defined geographical area.
* Conform to and utilise best practice within Health and Safety at all times.
* To work with various Engineers and Trainee Engineers as and when directed.
* To liaise with customers as and when required.
Person specification:
* Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in a lift engineering discipline
* Customer focused.
* Proficiency in using company hand held devices and service management system.
* Good organisational skills and to prioritise a varied workload.
* Willingness to attend company training as available.
* Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel.
