What You Will Do *
This is a transactional procurement role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of a number of orderbooks covering both high and low complex components and assemblies.
Main Duties (Leading and/or Supporting):
1. Executes purchase orders and amendments within existing contracts and pricing agreements
2. Manages day-to-day orderbook health, confirmations, schedules, expedites and invoice payments
3. Provides real-time operational communication to MPM’s/PM’s/CM’s on reschedules and sales forecasts
4. Undertakes RFP/Q’s to support programme requirements
5. Manages supplier relationships on Leverage and Bottleneck supplier accounts
6. Manages the day-to-day supplier performance management, delivery, quality, responsiveness and services levels on Leverage and Bottleneck suppliers
7. Monitors KPI’s/PI’s (OTIF, N/C’s etc.) and using CORE principles leads corrective action initiatives
8. May facilitate operational business reviews and escalations with agreed suppliers
9. Provides intel to Commodity leads to inform broader commodity strategy
10. Manages Non-conformance issues, facilitating RTV’s rework, scrappage etc
Essential Skills:
11. Experience in Supply Chain, Subcontract Management, Procurement, Commodity and/or related field
12. Flexible and positive attitude
13. Able to lead or perform effectively in a multi functional team
14. Excellent verbal and written communications
15. Experience in proposal and programme governance activities
16. Experience in or exposure to negotiating Low/medium complexity non-standard agreements
17. Experience of problem solving and dispute resolution
18. Experience or knowledge of MRP, SAP and purchase order placement/ material receipt processes
19. Administration of delivery/acceptance/invoicing of goods and service.
Desirable Skills:
20. Related degree/MCIPS/BA or equivalent.
21. Experience of Team mate selection and Teaming Agreements
22. Experience of developing and managing Subcontractor Relationship Management and collaborative working
23. Knowledge of import/export legislation and logistical requirements
24. Experience of working with international suppliers/programmes
25. 6 Sigma process improvement skillset
