We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Manager to join our client's finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in finance or accounting who is looking to grow their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with purchase and sales ledger processing
Bank reconciliations and processing payments
Ensure full compliance with HMRC requirements
Handling supplier invoices and resolving queries
Compile annual and interim budgets in line with business objectives
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
Desirable
AAT qualification (or working towards it)
Experience within a construction environment
