About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Planner (Infrastructure & S106) to lead negotiations, monitoring, and implementation of Section 106 agreements, ensuring planning obligations benefit communities. The role also involves managing the Council’s Infrastructure Management Plan (IMP) to align infrastructure projects with the strategic priorities outlined in the Replacement Local Development Plan (RLDP).

Additional Information
Interviews will be held in person at Bridgend Civic Offices. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post. Protecting children, young people, or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post, providing a framework for flexible working hours between home and office. Under the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, this post is designated as politically restricted.
