Our consultancy client is looking for a Framework Modelling Manager to join their Wastewater team in Derby/Birmingham on a permanent basis.\n\nDue to unprecedented investment in AMP8, our client is seeking Framework management support for wastewater hydraulic modelling frameworks on Severn Trent Water.\n\nOur clients' collaborative and multi-disciplinary team is one of the largest in the UK, providing water and wastewater infrastructure services alongside drainage design, SuDS and surface water management. Their wide variety of clients span across the UK and internationally and include water companies, local authorities, highways / rail authorities, and developers.\n\nSkills/experience/qualifications\n\nExperience working in the UK water industry, with proven skills in growing and building strong relationships with clients. \nExperience in managing projects, leading teams, and development of people.
\nExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to have technical discussions with colleagues and clients in a logical and coherent manor. \nExperience of hydraulic model build, verification, and solution development, including knowledge of the use of InfoWorks ICM, as well as GIS packages. \nRelevant degree or vocational qualification.
\nChartered with a relevant professional institution (i.e. ICE or CIWEM), would be advantageous. \n\nResponsibilities\n\nLeading a dynamic project delivery team, responsible for the successful delivery of one of our hydraulic modelling frameworks.\nThe development of client relationships with our key Water Company and non-Water Company clients.\nProject Management, including managing resources, budgets and programmes and coordinating with other disciplines.\nProject Management of DWMPs and other projects including Hydraulic Model Build and verification, Storm Water Management, SuDS, drainage, option development, SOAF and WFD.\nDriving continuous improvement in project delivery.\nDevelopment of tender responses and fee estimates.Benefits\n\nSalary open to discussion circa 70-90k plus car allowance\nGenerous company pension\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\nHybrid working\nPaid professional memberships\nOpportunity to work whilst overseas
