Field Service Technician (Electrical Bias) Sector: Engineering / Manufacturing Location: Norfolk, with UK Travel Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Days (with some overtime) Salary: Competitive, DOE Are you a hands-on Technician or Engineer with electrical experience? Whether you’ve worked on vehicles, plant, machinery or mobile kit — this role offers a mix of practical electrical work and UK-wide travel. ISQ Recruitment is working with a well-established business in Norfolk that needs an experienced technician to support service and repair work at customer sites across the UK. A company van is provided, and the role involves travel, fault finding, installations, and electrical repairs on a range of systems. You might come from a background like: Breakdown or roadside technician (RAC, AA, etc.) Auto electrician or vehicle mechanic HGV or PSV fitter Agricultural or plant engineer Dealership or franchise garage technician Forces-trained vehicle technician (e.g. REME) Field service or mobile maintenance technician What You’ll Be Doing: Electrical fault finding, wiring, and repairs on vehicles or systems Installing and routing high and low-voltage cables Supporting service and warranty work at customer premises Reading technical drawings and using diagnostic tools Travelling across the UK with overnight stays when required (van provided) Following site safety processes and using PPE What We’re Looking For: Electrical experience on vehicles, machinery, or mobile equipment Confident using tools, wiring, and diagnostic/testing equipment Able to follow schematics and work independently Full UK driving licence (for travel in company van) Flexible to travel and stay away during the week when needed Desirable: Vehicle or electrical qualification (IMI, NVQ or similar) Experience with EV or hybrid systems First Aid or Fire Warden training Cat D or Cat C2 licence (an advantage, not essential) Why Apply?
