About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you'll be a vital part of our childcare team, providing high-quality care and support to children from birth to five years old. You'll work closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the well-being of all children.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and toileting.
* Planning and leading engaging activities and play sessions.
* Supporting children's learning and development.
* Ensuring a safe and clean environment.
* Communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
What We're Looking For
* A genuine love for working with young children.
* Experience in a childcare setting (preferred, but not essential).
* Knowledge of early years development.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
