We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a global real estate business on a long‑term maternity cover contract. This is a standalone role, reporting into both HR and Finance, with responsibility for administering payroll and benefits across three UK entities.
Key Responsibilities
* End‑to‑end management of monthly in‑house payrolls (c.100 employees across three entities).
* Administration of pensions, benefits, and salary sacrifice schemes.
* Preparation of payroll journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Handling HMRC submissions (RTI, P11Ds, PSA, P60s) and ensuring compliance.
* Liaising with external providers (pensions, benefits, auditors) and internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, employees).
* Supporting audits and ensuring payroll records are accurate and compliant.
Essentials
* Strong working knowledge of Payrite payroll software.
* Proven in‑house payroll experience (not outsourced).
* Understanding of salary sacrifice schemes and benefits administration.
* Experience with P11Ds and year‑end payroll processes.
Desirable
* Background in real estate or investment management
* Experience with Staffology payroll software (for a small entity transition).
