Murphy is recruiting for a D365 Project Manager to work with our expanding IT team in Stone Cross (WA3 3JD).

A day in the life of a Murphy D365 Project Manager
* Engage with key business stakeholders (process owners) to understand relevant business processes and identify current pain points and opportunities for improvement.
* Translate business requirements, working with stakeholders and third parties, into technical deliverables to meet business goals.
* Manage and coordinate tasks through our partners, e.g., Annata / Panamoure, to deliver project tasks and BAU support activities.
* Develop key metrics and reports with third parties to provide visibility into performance and forecast capacity, including delivery roadmaps.
* Stay updated with D365 Finance & Operations capabilities, features, and planned Microsoft Roadmap changes, seeking opportunities to improve functionality or efficiency.
* Plan and manage the release process for D365 to support business priorities, balancing stability, risk, and cost.
* Manage D365 environments, ensuring development and support capabilities are within budget.
* Oversee unit testing and support full user acceptance testing for upgrades, fixes, and enhancements.
* Schedule and coordinate operational releases with stakeholders.
* Manage wider finance systems (e.g., Syrinx) through support teams and vendors, ensuring responsive support.
* Implement information security best practices to protect company data, systems, and infrastructure.
* Ensure proper documentation is maintained to support ongoing service and maintenance, following Murphy’s standards.
* Manage ITIL processes, including incident management, to ensure effective service delivery.
Is this role a good fit for you?
* Experience supporting D365 Finance & Operations is essential.
* Proven ability to support finance teams and articulate service demands and solutions.
* Experience with financial systems, business requirements analysis, and IT Service Management tools.
* Application management experience with enterprise-scale D365 solutions, including supplier management.
* Construction industry experience with finance systems.
* Understanding of D365 Finance & Operations, its implementation, configuration, and usage.
* Experience with LCS and Dev/Ops for D365.
* Ability to meet deadlines, manage suppliers and offshore teams.
