To be able to concentrate in a multi-task environment and deal with frequent, unpredictable interruptions. To provide general administrative support where required across the whole function of the administration/secretarial team. To maintain confidentiality at all times ensuring that all data is kept secure and confidential in accordance with the Trust's policies. 2a. Cath Suite Administrative Cover To receive patient queries via the telephone and liaise with appropriate staff to ensure query is resolved in a timely manner. To undertake the scanning and uploading of relevant documents to Medi-Viewer following patient attendance to the unit. Produce the agenda for patients to be discussed at the MDT with guidance from the lead consultant. Ensure that all clinical information for these patients is available in preparation for the MDT. Ensure post-MDT correspondence is sent to external and internal stakeholders in a timely manner. To liaise with the Radiology staff who manage the Image Exchange Portal to facilitate the migration of images to and from the Trust. To be aware of NHS waiting time targets. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including English and Mathematics. RSA or equivalent audio typing experience. Desirable criteria NVQ 3/4 in Administration or working towards. Computer literate to ECDL standard or equivalent. Experience Essential criteria Experience of meeting deadlines involving high volumes of data within strict/tight timeframes. Experience of working within a team and independently. Experience of accurate data collection and input. Experience of working within an Administrative role Knowledge Essential criteria Understanding of the need of confidentiality awareness at all times. Understanding of the importance of accuracy in a data collection. Knowledge and use of Microsoft software including Word. Understanding of the importance of working to deadlines. Desirable criteria Knowledge of 18week and Cancer Pathways Knowledge of NHS IT systems including IPM, ICE and Tomcat.
