About Us
The Welly: A New Taproom + Small Plates from Somer Valley Brewing & Farms
Opening next month on Green Street, The Welly is the latest venture from the team behind Somer Valley Brewing & Farms. Taking over the old Belushi's site, it's set to become Bath's new go-to for truly local beer and food.
Brewed with barley grown on our own farm and water from our borehole, our beers are as local as it gets. The kitchen, led by Head Chef Peter Lewis (Bunch of Grapes, Henry's), will serve seasonal small plates using produce from our farm – with a nose-to-tail, zero-waste ethos guided by our in-house butchery team.
Expect thoughtful beer pairings, low food miles, and high flavour – plus pub classics like homemade pork scratchings and warm scotch eggs to pair with our crisp British Pils. Your local just got more local.
From our land to your hand.
