We’re currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking school in Northampton. You will play a vital role in supporting pupils with SEN, helping them to access learning and thrive in a safe and encouraging environment. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with SEN both in the classroom and during break/lunch times Assist the class teacher with daily activities and planning Maintain a safe, tidy, and engaging classroom environment Foster a nurturing, inclusive atmosphere that encourages positive behaviour and learning Offer one-to-one or small group support tailored to individual needs No School Experience? No Problem! While prior school-based experience is a bonus, it’s not essential. We’re looking for candidates who bring: Passion and commitment to working with children – a must Initiative, energy, and a positive attitude – a must Previous experience with SEN (desirable, not essential) A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) What’s in It for You?
