World Supercross Overview:

The 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship calendar is locked in. This year’s action spans 5 rounds across 5 continents, hitting a mix of iconic cities and new stops. We’re bringing the battle straight to fans around the world.


Role Overview:

The Event Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational elements of World Supercross events, ensuring logistical, technical, and infrastructure components are effectively planned and executed. This role serves as the Site Manager at events, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Event Site & Technical Production:

· Act as the Site Manager at events, overseeing all operational elements of the build.

· Manage technical production, including pyrotechnics, audio, lighting, and show communications.

· Oversee event signage installation, and execution.

· Work closely with the track build team to coordinate construction, machinery, and dirt management.


Logistics & Infrastructure:

· Assist with freight logistics, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of equipment and materials to and from event locations.

· Manage traffic and access control plans for smooth event flow.

· Oversee venue overlay, including temporary structures, staging, and operational spaces.

· Coordinate CAD drawings for event site planning and infrastructure placement.


Safety & Compliance:

· Ensure Work Health & Safety (WHS) standards are met across all operational areas.

· Prepare and maintain comprehensive WHS documentation, ensuring all operational activities comply with relevant safety standards and legislative requirements.

· Serve as the key venue operations contact, working closely with venue management to align operational requirements.

· Support security planning and implementation in coordination with the Head of Events.


Team & Stakeholder Coordination:

· Work closely with local event crews, ensuring all operational requirements are communicated and executed.

· Liaise with key suppliers and contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services.

· Coordinate with race management to align event operations with race requirements.


Key Skills & Experience:

· Minimum 5 – 7 years in live event operations, preferably within motorsports or large-scale stadium-based entertainment.

· Strong technical production knowledge, including an understanding of Pyro, Audio, and Lighting.

· Experience working with WHS regulations and implementing safety procedures, including developing documentation

· Ability to manage large-scale logistics, including heavy equipment and overlay infrastructure.

· Proven experience in budget management with commercially sound approach to decision making and ensuring cost-effective and efficient event delivery.

· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders.

· Ability to work in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines.

· International network of contacts across event suppliers, venues, and logistics partners

· Excellent attention to detail ensuring every aspect of the event operations is meticulously planned and executed

· Forklift and other relevant license's are desirable

· Proficiency in CAD software for event planning is highly desirable.


Additional Requirements:

· Ability to travel internationally for event execution.

· Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and extended hours as required.

· Ability to work across multiple time zones

· A passion for motorsports and live event delivery.


The preferred location for this role is the United Kingdom; however, other locations will be considered for the right candidate. From time to time applicants based in the UK will be expected to attend planning sessions at our Central London office, with exact frequency to be discussed during the interview process.
