Job Description
We’re on a quest to find an experienced digital product designer to deliver quality UX and UI design work as part of our work creating industry-leading engineering and scientific software platforms. You will own the product design for an established geospatial platform produced in collaboration with a long-standing civil engineering client, and support design initiatives across Mettle’s science and engineering focused product activities.
Mettle is a design and development studio formed of a close-knit team of engineers, designers, developers, technologists and researchers. We go further than just ideas and concepts, delivering finished products at pace and with technical excellence.
As a Senior Digital Product Designer, you will:
1. Bring your design expertise to focus on products in complex engineering and scientific domains
2. Lead design activities on deep-dive UX and UI design sprints: generating ideas, prototyping concepts, testing with users, and detailing designs
3. Collaborate with software development teams to bring products to life
4. Champion users and their needs in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
5. Lead communication and relationship building with clients and partners
