Our client, a UK enterprise software company providing AI-driven automation that help organisations improve customer service and streamline digital processes, is recruiting for an QA Engineer to join the team. The QA Engineer plays a critical part in safeguarding the reliability, usability, and overall user experience of the products.
Key Responsibilities
* Develops, reviews, and executes comprehensive test plans, scripts, and cases based on project requirements and specifications.
* Performs exploratory, unit, UI, regression, and release testing; conducts cross-browser and mobile device testing to ensure consistency across platforms.
* Logs, tracks, and reports defects using standard issue management systems, and collaborates with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Works closely with developers, UX designers, and project managers to review requirements, share testing insights, and validate fixes.
* Applies usability testing techniques and basic accessibility tests to confirm that products adhere to WCAG guidelines and provide a superior user experience.
Requirements
* Experience in executing various testing typesincluding exploratory, regression, UI, and release testingusing manual and automated methods.
* Skills in planning, designing, and executing testing activities with risk-based prioritisation.
* Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, scripts, and cases, and managing defect tracking and resolution.
* Strong analytical skills to interpret specifications and construct challenging test cases.
* Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 1 day a month from their offices in Bedford.
