A high-trust, high-expectation position supporting a Principal who runs a Family Office and is actively involved in venture investments and operating businesses. You will not simply "manage a diary". You will bring structure, judgement and momentum to a very full life and an ambitious portfolio.
This role suits an experienced EA who enjoys thinking as well as executing - someone commercially aware, naturally curious and comfortable in rooms with founders, investors and UHNW relationships. You will be relied upon. And valued for it.
The role:
You will act as the Principal's right-hand. Calm, composed and quietly ahead of what is coming next.
Diary management
Running a complex, fast-moving calendar across time zones. Protecting focus time, sequencing priorities intelligently and ensuring the diary reflects what truly matters.
Inbox and gatekeeping
Triaging correspondence, drafting crisp responses, surfacing decisions and ensuring the Principal is never blindsided.
Travel
End-to-end multi-stop travel management including flights, hotels, transfers and entry requirements. You will think in contingencies and handle last-minute changes without drama.
Briefing notes
Preparing concise, practical pre-reads ahead of meetings and trips - context, stakeholders, objectives and next steps. Clear, useful and to the point.
Follow-through
Capturing actions and decisions. Maintaining a clean action log. Following up firmly and diplomatically to ensure momentum is not lost.
Stakeholder management
Liaising confidently with founders, investors, advisers and UHNW relationships. Representing the office with discretion, polish and good judgement.
Venture support
Tracking dealflow and relationship pipelines. Summarising pitch decks. Organising materials. Supporting meeting preparation and timely follow-ups.
Commercial awareness
Maintaining an interest in business and technology. Bringing useful prompts or reading when appropriate - not noise, but value.
Personal administration
Managing personal commitments and occasional events with sensitivity and discretion.
Using AI - sensibly
The Principal is forward-thinking and expects the same.
You will:
* Use AI tools comfortably for drafting, summarising and research
* Translate new tools into simple workflows (briefs, travel packs, action logs)
* Apply sensible fact‑checking and maintain strict confidentiality
* Focus on speed and clarity, not gimmicks
Experience required:
* 5+ years supporting a UHNWI, founder, investor or senior executive
* Strong judgement and prioritisation; comfortable pushing back with logic and tact
* Excellent travel planning and contingency thinking
* Commercial confidence and fluency in business and technology conversations
* Outstanding written English; able to write crisp emails and short briefing notes
* Discreet, reliable and trusted with sensitive information
* Strong IT skills; quick to learn new systems
This is a genuinely pivotal position within a well‑run, discreet Family Office. For an EA who wants to operate at a higher level - and be treated accordingly - this is a compelling opportunity.
