We have a great opportunity for an Employability Tutor with a specialism in the security sector based in Manchester (Hybrid).\n\n£26,000 to £28,000 per year / plus Mileage / plus amazing benefits\n\nYou will deliver short courses lasting 2-3 weeks in a range of areas such as Level 2 Spectator Safety, First Aid at Work Level 3, Knowledge of ACT, Understanding of Martyn's Law, Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors SIA (Security Industry Authority) to groups of learners aged 19+.\n\nThe Role:\n\n·Deliver classroom based / accredited qualifications, entry 3 - level 2 to Greater Manchester (GM) residents (learners aged 19+) in class sizes of up to 12-15 people.\n\n·Carry out initial and on-going assessment to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving the right level of support.\n\n·Provide robust learning opportunities that ensures learners successfully undertake and complete assignments or sit exams to maintain high success rates.\n\n·Mark paper-based assessment evidence of students' work, i.e. Portfolios and paper-based exams.\n\n·Provide written and verbal structured, constructive feedback.\n\n·Set SMART development objectives for learners.\n\n·All paperwork is completed in line with current in-house procedures.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\n·A teaching qualification - At least PTLLS Level 3 (Essential).\n\n·IAG Level 2 / Qualification or willingness to undertake training (Desirable).\n\n·Full UK Drivers Licence and access to use of a vehicle to be able to travel across Greater Manchester.\n\n·Experience of working with adults in the education sector.\n\n·Understanding issues of people with barriers to employment.\n\n·Relevant industry experience (essential).\n\n·Maths and English L2 - (GCSE or Functional Skills)\n\nGreat benefits:\n\n * 25 days of annual leave (rising with length of service) and an opportunity to buy an additional 10 days\n\n * Access to a company pension scheme with a 6% employer and 4% colleague contributions\n\n * Flexible working request from interview stage\n\n * Access to a discounts scheme, with Smart Spending discounts at over 130 retailers\n\n * Cycle-to-Work scheme and other travel subsidies, including train season tickets\n\n * Access to an affordable private health care plan and much more!\n\nDue to the high volume of applications Recruited UK receives, we will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
