Overview
Project Management, Delivery & Controls - Nuclear Graduates 2026 is a two-year programme within the UK nuclear sector. Participants are employed by Energus and supported by a sponsoring organisation, with potential to progress into a role with the sponsor or within the wider nuclear sector.
What you'll do
* Support the delivery of projects safely, in a timely and cost-effective manner
* Work with multi-disciplinary teams on design, construction, commissioning and decommissioning projects
* Work with internal and external stakeholders such as the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, regulators and local stakeholders
* Develop skills in Commercial, Financial Management, Planning, Risk and Performance Management
Programme structure
Over two years you will gain broad exposure to the UK nuclear sector across three secondments. You will be employed by Energus and supported by a sponsoring organisation, with the aim of securing a role with your sponsor or within the wider nuclear sector after completion.
Entry requirements
* A minimum of a 2:2 in a relevant degree subject
* Right to work for the duration of the two-year programme; offers conditional on satisfactory right to work checks
* Successful completion of security clearance checks
* Willing and able to travel and relocate. Energus head office is based in Workington, Cumbria; role locations will vary by sponsor location
Start date
September 2026
Recruitment stages
* Online application form – please complete all required sections
* Psychometric assessment – Neurosight, sent via email
* Online interview – 20-30 minute video interview with representatives from one of the sponsoring organisations
* Assessment centre – face-to-face activities with information about the nuclear industry and the programme
* Offer – outcomes issued within two weeks after the assessment centres
* Onboarding – pre-start support and security paperwork ahead of September 2026 start
Face-to-face assessment centres will be held in early 2026. If you are unable to attend, you may be unable to complete the selection process. Check emails (including junk/spam) for invitations.

Closing Date: Friday 14 November 2025. Applications received after this date may not be considered. We reserve the right to close a role early if we receive sufficient applications. Only one Nuclear Graduates application is required.
