Learning & Development Director – Luxury Members' Club | Central London |
Our client, a brand-new and exclusive private members' club in Belgravia, is seeking an exceptional Learning & Development Director with strong HR expertise to join their senior leadership team.
This is a pivotal role in shaping the club's people strategy — leading training, culture, and development initiatives to deliver the highest standards of service and excellence.
The Role
As L&D Director, you'll design and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the club's goals and values. You'll work closely with department heads to identify training needs, deliver impactful programs, and nurture future leaders.
Alongside this, you'll provide HR oversight, ensuring compliance, engagement, and performance excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead the overall L&D strategy and training framework.
* Partner with leadership to identify skills gaps and create tailored programs.
* Oversee onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning.
* Integrate modern learning methods and technologies to enhance outcomes.
* Analyse performance data and continuously refine training delivery.
* Support HR compliance, employee engagement, and people development.
* Report directly to the Managing Director and mentor the HR Assistant.
About You
* Minimum 5 years' senior experience in L&D and HR roles.
* Proven background designing and delivering effective training programs.
* Confident working in luxury or high-end hospitality environments.
* Strong communicator and collaborator with exceptional leadership skills.
* Degree in HR, Organisational Development, or similar (CIPD qualification desirable).
